Beast malformations are frequent but can be very troublesome in a woman’s daily life. They are most often due to a developmental anomaly of one or both breasts, but can also be due to trauma (like a severe burn during childhood) or surgery. Many young women suffering from breast malformations are often reluctant to talk about their condition, and keeping it for themselves can eventually contribute to greater anxiety. Even in severe malformation cases, the first consultation is usually booked relatively late, often in the woman’s thirties, after many years of anxiety and insecurity.
