Introduction

It is important to note that there is no opposition between cosmetic medicine and cosmetic surgery, in fact, they complement each other perfectly. All surgeons are initially doctors, and I am always happy to obtain satisfactory results from ever-developing medical techniques, without having to operate. Medical progress has led to the creation of numerous surgical specializations since the late 1900s, like for example gastric ulcer treatment, which no longer requires surgery thanks to advancements in molecular medicine.

Is cosmetic medicine for you?

Cosmetic medicine includes all medical procedures with a cosmetic goal that do not involve opening the skin. It includes procedures like chemical peelings, lasers, and ultrasounds. Although cosmetic medicine techniques are constantly improving, they cannot treat everything, they can either be used to complement a surgery or to fix one specific issue.

To obtain the best results when rejuvenating the shape of the face, surgery is usually necessary. In addition, certain particular cases will not obtain satisfactory results from injections only, and, having practiced both cosmetic medicine and surgery for a long time, I will inform you when the limits of cosmetic medicine have been reached to avoid any ineffective treatment.

During the first consultation, we will go over your cosmetic goals as well as your medical history, I will examine you, take a few photographs and offer you an adapted treatment. Depending on your case, treatment can be administered either right away or during a follow-up appointment.

I can even perform injections of both botox and hyaluronic acid during the same appointment.
