Micro lipofilling<\/h1>\n

Fat tissue autograft is the most innovative procedure since the development of liposuction in the 1970\u2019s. Today\u2019s techniques allow us to use your own tissues to treat scars, erase the wear of time, and modify shapes. Volumizing substances, such as hyaluronic acid, are commonly used to fill wrinkles or augment lips. Today, it is possible to do those things using the patient’s own cells, without injecting any foreign substances. Micro lipofilling does not require the patient to have excess fat, only a very small quantity of fat tissue is needed. I typically use this technique for facial and neckline rejuvenation.<\/p>\n

Fat cells have to be removed meticulously to ensure their survival both before and after their implantation. This need for a rigorous, flawless technique is the reason why some argue that micro lipofilling \u201cjust doesn\u2019t work\u201d.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Procedure” tab_id=”procedure”][vc_column_text el_class=”title title__md title__text-transform-inherit link__secondary” el_id=”procedure”]<\/p>\n

Procedure<\/h2>\n

After discussing the diagnosis and treatment options during a 30 to 60-minute long consultation, we can schedule an appointment for the micro filling procedure, which is conducted at the medical office in an adapted treatment room.<\/p>\n

A local anesthetic is injected in both the collection and recipient areas.<\/p>\n

A nurse will be monitoring your vitals and preparing the tools. I will be removing the fat tissue using micro cannulas, you may feel a small pinch but no pain. The fat cells are then centrifuged and purified before being reinjected in the face or neckline.<\/p>\n

Results and follow-up<\/h2>\n

Mild swelling may appear in the removal and recipient areas. Bruises usually form in the removal areas and the neckline, and sometimes on the face depending on the severity of the treatment.<\/p>\n

Results are immediately visible and become fully stable after two months.
