The liposuction technique evolved tremendously since its invention by Yves-G\u00e9rard Illouz in 1971.The variety of superficial, tumescent, deep, micro and many other liposuction techniques allow me to combine the techniques most adapted to a particular patient. You can go home after the surgery or stay at the clinic overnight depending on your preferences. The fat is suctioned out through a thin, hollow rod inserted under the skin ; in some cases the rod is attached to a vibrating device which leaves much of the arterial blood supply under the skin intact. The instrument is introduced through a short incision 5 millimetres long which will subsequently be inconspicuous.The fat is removed evenly, and a layer of fat 1.5 centimetres thick is left under the skin to avoid an irregular appearance.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”After the operation” tab_id=”after”][vc_column_text el_class=”title title__md title__text-transform-inherit link__secondary” el_id=”after”]<\/p>\n

A compression garment is worn over the treated area for two weeks. A surgical drain may have to be inserted, but there is generally no major inconvenience. After liposuction, patients tend to experience discomfort rather than pain. The final results are apparent after about three months, once all the swelling has subsided.They are frequently very good and long-lasting because the fat cells that have been suctioned out are not regenerated in the adult body.
